Position Description:
Late Nite Labs is the leader in digital science simulations for education. The Quality Assurance (QA) Lead is a key position in ensuring that our lab simulations and learning management system serve the needs of our ever expanding user base. The QA Lead will work with the engineering and project teams to test features and improvements.

Responsibilities:
- Review business and functional requirements and produce a test strategy and test cases based on acceptance criteria
- Perform lab environment testing based on data provided by Science Team
- Perform testing acceptance through to resolution for release, including any patches or hot fixes
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on reasonable resolutions and test strategies
- Perform and maintain up to date regression testing on all internally developed applications to certify them for production implementation
- Stabilize, expand, and lead automation of our testing process and infrastructure, including any automation scripts needed
- Track, document, and share known behaviors with product and engineering teams, reporting bugs and functional specifications using JIRA
- Replicate, troubleshoot, and resolve escalated customer support issues
- Attend and participate in sprint agile processes, including scrum and sprint planning sessions
- Use JIRA Project Management tool to move stories through sprint cycles
- Recruit and manage QA intern (seasonal)
Skills/Knowledge:
- Experience working in agile teams with a behavior driven development (BDD) approach or similar
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with various stakeholders
- 2 years experience as a Test, Quality Assurance, Automation or Senior Software Engineer, preferably at a high traffic consumer facing website
- Familiarity with project management software (i.e. JIRA) and test automation (i.e. Selenium) a plus
- Knowledge of SQL preferred

Position Description:
Late Nite Labs, leader in digital science simulations for education, is looking for a talented and experienced PHP Developer for extending our online laboratory simulations across multiple platforms.
The Senior PHP Developer – Science Programmer for Late Nite Labs is responsible for programming digital lab simulations and back-end/database solutions. PHP Dev will work as part of a larger engineering group prototyping lab simulations in a variety of new architectures onto various platforms.
Responsibilities:
Programming
- Work collaboratively across teams to develop a dynamic and scalable laboratory simulation environment.
- Code behavioral logic in accordance with scientific principles.
- Expand and optimize the existing code base for use with new scientific instruments and materials as needed for additional labs and disciplines.
- Code and expand an API to connect the backend state of the simulation to a variety of front-end clients.
- Optimize load times, latency, and analyze other key performance metrics in order for the lab simulations to load and run smoothly on any environment.
Skills/Knowledge:
Minimum of four years of programming experience or demonstrable senior level programming skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Mastery of PHP language and MySQL programming.
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in a variety of PHP frameworks and libraries such as Symfony or CodeIgniter.
- Have a solid handle on applied mathematics particular as pertains to laboratory science.
- Experience with websockets a plus.

Position Description:
Late Nite Labs, leader in digital science simulations for education, are looking for a talented and experienced Unity3D Developer for extending our online laboratory simulations across multiple platforms.
The Unity3D Developer will be part of a small team whose goal is to design, develop, and maintain a thin front-end client using C# .net in the Unity3D Engine. Must be experienced with Unity GUI, Object Oriented Design principles, asset bundles, and C# programming. The Unity3D Developer will also interact with other teams including content editors, graphic artists, back-end developers, interactivity / UX designers, and product stakeholders. The Developer must be a team player and work well in a collaborative Agile environment.
Experience Needed:
- Expert knowledge of Unity3D Pro and C# development including Unity GUI, asset bundles, materials and shaders.
- Experienced in multi-platform development .
- Experience in physics and particle systems an advantage.
- Experience in 2D/3D animation an advantage.
- Experience working in a cross-functional Agile team environment highly desirable.
- Experience with websockets a plus.
